“I don’t paint Las Vegas as it looks. I paint Las Vegas as it feels.”

There are millions of photographs out there that depict Las Vegas as it actually looks, but I want to portray Las Vegas as it feels - the extraordinary mixture of desert, light, architecture, and energy all mixed in with a dash of madness. Buildings become shapes and the skyline dissolves into brushstrokes and textures. Some landmarks remain recognizable, others almost disappear.
Less of a cityscape and more of an emotional portrait: this is my Las Vegas - the city I now call home and in my eyes, the coolest city in the world.
